Family Christmas

Join us on the Embree House Historic Farm for a Christmas experience you will want to make a family tradition.  Imagine experiencing Christmas with your family as in days gone by.

Begin with an original Christmas story, Angel Guardians and Christmas Trees, written by the proprieter and his granddaughters. The Christmas holiday brings great joy as it also touches our heart remembering loved ones who are no longer with us to share the joyous time together.  This story shares how faith and the gift of Jesus’ love can change our sad  moments during the holidays into days of  joy and hope.

You can share your own family Christmas stories in the great room of the 1791 stone house which is on the historic register. Holiday refreshments will  be enjoyed. The final part of your adventure will be the selection of a naturally grown live Christmas tree from a field on the farm. The naturally grown trees have never been sheared. The trees appear as those of yesteryear rather than having the appearance of an artificial tree.

 You can choose a large cut tree or dig a smaller  tree which can be planted at your home to recall your family experience. Your Embree House Historic Farm Family Christmas will brighten your home with special memories throughout the holidays and the new year. Plan to spend 1 to 2 hours and dress according to the weather.

Event Fee(s) 

• $135 for a family of 2 parents and 2 children;
  • $15 for each additional person;
  • $50 for each addtional tree;
  • no charge for children 4 and under.
